- In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sugar, vinegar, garlic, ginger, scallions, sesame oil, and chili flakes. Until sugar is dissolved.
- Stored in an airtight container or glass jar. Up to 1 week
FOR SAUCE
- In a small bowl, whisk 1 tbsp cornstarch + 1 tbsp cold water until smooth
- Pour your marinade into a saucepan and heat it over medium heat until it begins to bubble.
- Slowly stir the slurry into the hot marinade while whisking continuously.
- Cook 1–2 minutes until thickened to your desired consistency.It should coat the back of a spoon like a glaze.
