Method
- Start by cooking your garlic and ginger over low heat in a saucepan bigger than 2 quarts. (3 to 5 minutes)
- Remove from heat and add Soy sauce, Shaoxing wine (or sherry), white wine, sugar, Sesame oil, water and cornstarch.
- Mix well, then return to heat and bring to a boil, stirring frequently.
- Reduce to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes.
- Let it cool, Store in a airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 month.
